Aqua Tap Plumbing Criteria for Trade Plumbers:
- Completed a full trade certificate in Plumbing
- Experience in Residential &/or Commercial Plumbing (min 4 years)
- Hold a current Construction Induction White Card
- Hold a current Driver's License

Apprentices
Aqua Tap Plumbing is one of the leading employers of apprentice plumbers in the plumbing and building industry. When you join us you can expect a unique experience. You will develop your skills learning from some of best plumbers while participating in our proven training, support and QA programs.
We will only consider those who demonstrate the desire to succeed to become the best plumbing tradesperson possible.
Apprentice criteria:
- Hold a current Construction Induction White Card
- Undertaken a plumbing pre-apprenticeship certificate (is advantageous)
- Complete Aqua Tap's Induction program prior to working with us
- Complete a work trial with us (up to 2 weeks)
Work Experience Students
Students..... are you thinking of a career in plumbing?
Aqua Tap Plumbing is proud to support students who wish to experience plumbing and gain some re-assurance that this is the trade for you..! We often discover our future apprentices through our work experience placements.
We can provide students:
- 1-2 week work experience blocks; or
- for Year 11 or 12 students undertaking a pre-apprenticeship certificate, we can accommodate weekly work experience arrangements
Work experience criteria:
- You must have a current Construction Induction White Card
- Have a genuine interest in trades
- Complete a Structured Workplace Learning Arrangement Form
- Complete Aqua Tap's Pre-registration forms
- Attend an induction at our facility prior to commencing (Note: those U18 must be accompanied by a guardian)
We try to accommodate work experience placements as best we can and we have on average taken on 10 work experience students each year, however placements are not guaranteed and subject to available spots at the time of your inquiry.
